FAQ

ask us anything

Llapanchik Hampinakuy wants to thank the connection, mentorship, and inspiration Melody Li from Inclusive Therapists – A Safer, Simpler Way to Find Care has provided to us since we began this journey. With their consent, we have borrowed certain language from their website and built upon it.

Looking for healers and services

Our search feature has several categories to filter results (e.g. location, gender, price, language, insurance accepted, etc.). Select the categories that best fit the provider you are looking for.

Use the search filter and select “Location” to find a provider closest to you.

We are very intentional about aligned values and healers who would like to become members of our directory. Potential members’ must answer multiple questions. We ask them to share values in the following general categories:

    • On Indigenous healing practices
    • On Decolonial practices
    • On Settler Colonialism
    • On on-going genocides in Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Tigray, and other resource rich/exploited areas
    • On (im)migrant justice
    • On racial justice values
    • On gender and sexuality justice values
    • On disability/healing justice values
    • On social justice and intersectionality principles

Healer’s profiles will include this information. If you need further answers you can contact them directly through their preferred contact method.

We do our best to vet our members so that they have an ethical healer-client relationship and connection. We do not share client’s information. As the person seeking offerings, you are in control of who you contact and share your information with. Though we do not offer urgent or crisis care, we have compiled a list of resources here. If you are experiencing a crisis, please consider reaching out to a trusted person for support. We support the belief that community care can be the safest option. Dialing the 998 hotline is also an option. Please know that police are not trained mental health practitioners and can often cause more harm to the person in need.

Please contact us immediately! We pride ourselves in having an intentional vetting process so that we do all that is in our hands to accept healers who’s values align with ours. This includes maintaining ethical standards in their offerings and medicine. At the same time, we cannot guarantee that inappropriate behavior won’t happen. Members are aware that we reserve the right to terminate their membership should they engage in unethical behavior. We also ask that you read our terms and conditions here.

Prospective Llapanchik Hampinakuy member

We welcome providers from all healing modalities rooted in Indigenous practices.

Prospective members have the opportunity to upload copies of certifications, licenses, and documents during our vetting process. Licensure numbers, if applicable to your practice, are required for our review process.

Currently, our network spans across the occupied United States. This may change as our network and capacity grows.

We understand that financial wellness is part of the medicine circle. Please reach out to us via email with any questions about support.

Yes, as a member, you will be able to promote your offerings and we can share it through our social media network.

We currently do not have a free trial available.

We begin our vetting process with a thorough questionnaire to determine experience level and alignment of values based on intersectionality. We review a provider’s certifications and licenses if it is applicable to their practice. This is the first step in our process. Once the provider’s responses have been evaluated and determined to be in alignment, they will be accepted to join the network and their profile will go live on the website.

We have security measures in place that can attempt to protect spam or generally inappropriate messages. At the same time, we cannot guarantee that this won’t happen. If you are being harassed by a client, service seeker, or third party, please reach us directly through here. We also ask that you read our terms and conditions here.
